Terms and Conditions
As a guest with Rivierabike, it is important that you read and understand our terms and conditions as set out below.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% per person is required to secure your booking.
If you book within 8 weeks of your holiday, then the full balance will be required once we receive confirmation of your booking.
Payment of The Balance
Rivierabike must receive payment of the final balance no later than 8 weeks from commencement of your holiday.
Cancellation by you
You will lose your deposit.
If you cancel within the 8 weeks of commencement of your holiday, and Rivierabike are unable to fill those dates and/or unable to accommodate you on alternative dates then we cannot offer any refund.
Please note that our cancellation policy does not apply to COVID. Please see our separate COVID policy.
Cancellation By Rivierabike
If Rivierabike need to cancel your holiday, you will be offered alternative dates, or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
Changes To your booking
If you wish to change your booking, Rivierabike will make every effort to assist with these changes. If we are unable to accommodate these changes and you then wish to cancel your holiday, then our cancellation policy will apply.
Euro Exchange Rates
Rivierabike charges in Euros. You may pay for your holiday in either Euros or Sterling.
The Sterling to Euro exchange rate will be calculated at the date of issue of the invoice. Please note that if paying in instalments (i.e. deposit and final balance) the exchange rate will be calculated independently at the date of the respective invoices.
Single Person Supplement
Prices are based on two people sharing. If there is an odd number in your group then you will be provided with a triple room, no discounts shall apply. Alternatively, should you have an odd number of people in your group or are travelling alone please indicate whether you or a member of your group will be prepared to share with another (same sex) person. Should this not be possible, a single supplement may apply.
Our biking locations enjoy a generally dry and sunny climate. However, in the event of loss of riding day/s because of adverse weather conditions Rivierabike are unable to offer any refunds.
Rivierabike CANNOT be held responsible for any injury to persons whilst riding and any loss, theft or damage to personal property. All guests must have specialist travel insurance to cover them for mountain biking, cancellation, etc. You will be required to provide your insurance details to Rivierabike prior to riding. NO Insurance NO riding. It is also advisable to have an EHIC/GHIC card
Use Of Rivierabike and Third party vehicles
Clients travel in these vehicles entirely at their own risk. Clients are responsible for the safe transit of their own bikes and must ensure that bikes are put on the trailers securely. No items deemed of value should be left in the vehicles unattended.
Clients are responsible for the safe keeping of personal items. Rivierabike cannot be held responsible for loss, theft or damage of personal property.
Mountain biking is an extreme sport and carries an element of danger therefore all riders have a responsibility for their own and safety of others.
All riders participate entirely at their own risk and must wear a helmet when riding. NO helmet NO riding. It is also advisable to wear knee and elbow protection.
Hirers are responsible for all damage to or loss of the bike during the period of hire up to the replacement cost of the bike if stolen.
General wear and tear such as brake pads, tyres, cables etc.. is included within the hire cost.
Bike hire is normally paid for in advance. If payment is to be made on arrival a deposit (credit card number and signature of authorisation) or a passport and advance cash payment for the full bike rental will be required.
Rivierabike will try to ensure that the bike is in full working order however components can malfunction.
Hirers are responsible for their own safety whilst riding any bike hired to them.
